Update
I went and had a closed door meeting with my best friend here, who happens to rank pretty high. He wants me to stay and move over to the sales and marketing side of things, in a new position. That sounds pretty good, cause I would report to him, and the President, and I really like both of them. The money would be better, and I would get the all important change of scenery.
Trouble is...he needs time to set it up, and I need to answer the other company very soon.
This is getting difficult.

It is nice to be wanted, especially if you improve your lot at the old gig.
I used a really good offer from another organization as leverage at my current job. I got a big raise so I stayed, happily.
I agree - it is cool to be wanted- but I hate promises- did he say how long the "time" to set up will be? And could he move the office closer to your house? ;)
Well after sleeping on it, I'm gonna need something firm or today I give notice.
They would still have two weeks to come up with something special
